Description

Payne's Farmhouse is an 18th-century building that is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. It stands two storeys high and features a three-window range of double-hung vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. The central entrance has a pedimented doorcase and a six-panel door. The central window on the first floor has a semi-circular head. The farmhouse has a T-shaped plan, with a modern one-and-a-half storey extension at the rear that includes two dormer windows. There are chimney stacks at the end walls.
