Description
Honeysuckle Cottage is a 17th-century house located on The Lane in West Mersea. It features a double range with parallel ridge and gable roofs, which are covered with peg tiles and have eaves. The building has two storeys in both ranges. The front facing the lane has a plain door positioned to the right of the center, which is topped with a hood supported by consoles. To the left of the door, there are two small-paned sash windows, while to the right, there is a pair of modern casement windows. On the first storey, there is a row of three windows that match those on the ground storey.
