Description
Jenkins Farmhouse is a 16th-century house located on Fordham Road in Wormingford. It is timber-framed with plaster infill and consists of three bays, featuring a jettied central porch that is dated 1583. The building has two storeys and includes a single-storey lean-to on the southern end, which surrounds a red brick chimney stack with two truncated octagonal shafts. There is a 17th-century extension to the north, constructed of brick in English bond, which includes some brick mullioned windows. The tile roof is painted, and the 16th-century elevation has leaded casements. The rear (east) side features oriel windows. The roofs are ridged and gabled, covered with peg tiles.
