Description

The cartlodge with granary over north of Rochfords is an 18th-century dual-purpose building. It features a timber frame resting on red brick footings, which are clad with black weatherboards. The roof is ridged and gabled, covered with peg tiles. The first floor is supported by binding joists with heavy knees beneath them. The footings are constructed in English bond and consist of four bays. There are access doors located at the east end of the building.
