Description
The building is a cartlodge with a granary above, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with timber framing and weatherboarding, and has a roof made of handmade red plain tiles. The ground floor features four open bays facing northeast, with vertical boarding above. The rear and end walls are made of brick, and there is an external stair at the northwest end. The structure is one storey with a loft, and the bays are framed using interrupted tiebeam construction. The transverse beams are original, while the joists and floorboards have been renewed. The roof is a clasped purlin design.
