Description
Rose Cottage is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered cottage, featuring pargetted panels. It has one storey and attics, with a two-window range that includes small casements with lattice leaded lights. The cottage has a plain doorway and a thatched roof, which is complemented by two dormer windows. Rose Cottage is part of a group that includes the Old White Horse, 1 and 2 White Horse Cottages, St Michaels Cottages, Vale House, The Folly, Tyle Barn, Butlers, House and Mount Stores, the Old Post House, Parsonage Cottage, and the House of Retreat.
