Description

Butlers is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered house. It is two storeys high and has a three-window front with modern casement windows. A modern porch projects from the front, and a boarded door is present. The roof is tiled and hipped. A timber-framed and weatherboarded wing extends to the rear. The house forms a group with the Old White Horse, 1 and 2 White Horse Cottages, St Michaels Cottages, Vale House, The Folly, Tyle Barn, Rose Cottage, House and Mount Stores, Old Post House, Parsonage Cottage, and House of Retreat.
