Description

This is a long range of red brick houses and shops, dating from the 18th or early 19th century. The building has two storeys and an eight-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. Number 8 has a 20th-century shop front and a garage entrance. Number 12 features a small bay shop window with glazing bars. The roofs are tiled. Numbers 2 to 14 (even) and Number 1, along with The Cock Inn on High Street and The Bear Inn on The Square, form a group of buildings of group value.
