Description

This is an early 19th century red brick house and shop. It is two storeys high with a three-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. A small bay window serves as a shop front on the ground floor, and a central doorway features a semi-circular arched head. The roof is slate, with stopped gable ends. The house is part of a group that includes numbers 2 to 14 (even) on Stock Mill Road, The Cock Inn on High Street, and The Bear Inn on The Square.
