Description

This is an early 19th-century house, later used as a shop. It is constructed of red brick with painted stone dressings, and has a hipped slate roof with a moulded eaves band and an end stack on the right-hand side. The front facade is three stories high with a three-window arrangement. The windows are glazing bar sashes, with painted wedged heads, reduced in height to the top storey. The centre first-floor window has a moulded surround and is set over a wide, low pediment that previously marked the central entrance. The shopfront is from the 20th century.
