Description
Old Lodge Farmhouse is an early 19th-century building featuring a grey gault brick front that conceals an earlier structure at the rear. It stands three storeys tall and has a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars, set in plain reveals and topped with gauged brick arches. The ground floor is distinguished by two canted bays flanking a central doorway, which is adorned with a rectangular fanlight featuring ornamental glazing bars. This doorway is sheltered by an Ionic portico, complete with plain columns, a frieze, and a cornice. The roof is finished with slate and features a paired bracketed eaves cornice at the front.
