Description
The stable and granary building at Old Lodge Farm dates from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features a gabled roof made of old plain tiles, with a slate roof on the front lean-to. The building is one storey high with a loft. The front elevation includes timber lintels above a central plank door, a small window to the left, and an early 19th-century outshut to the right, which has a plank door. The left gable end has a 18th-century outshut with a timber lintel over a late 19th-century plank door. Inside, the building has chamfered joists and a roof with looped purlins and coupled rafters. This structure is included for its group value.
