Description
Bailey's Farmhouse is a late 16th-century timber-framed house that was refronted in the 18th century using red brick with blue brick vertical bands. The building was altered in the 19th century and stands two storeys high. It features a three-window range with 19th-century double-hung sashes that have single vertical glazing bars, set in plain reveals. The ground storey includes three canted bays and a gabled porch with a small window above. A raised brick band runs between the storeys. At the north-east end, there is an original external chimney stack with two offsets and two diagonally set shafts. The roof is tiled and has an original central chimney stack that is hexagonal, featuring diagonal pilaster shafts at the front.
