Description
Stonage Farmhouse is a medieval timber-framed and plastered house, likely dating from the 15th century. It originally featured cross wings at the north-east and south-west ends, but the south-west wing has since been destroyed, resulting in hipped roofs on the south-west side. The north-east wing has a jettied upper storey with exposed timber framing. The building has two storeys and attics, with 20th-century casement windows. The roof is tiled and includes an attic gable on the main block. The central chimney stack, which is from the 17th century, has been rebuilt above the roof level.
