Description

Longs Farmhouse is a house located on Great and Little Wakerings Farm Road. There may have been a building on this site since the 12th century, but the current structure dates from the 16th and 17th centuries. The house has been refronted in the Old style and has undergone alterations and additions. It is constructed of red brick and has two storeys. The windows are double-hung sashes featuring vertical glazing bars and segmental heads. The roof is tiled. Inside, the farmhouse showcases impressive early heavy timber-framing, along with ceiling beams and joists.
