Description

This is an end house and adjoining property, originally constructed probably in the 15th to 16th centuries as a timber-framed and plastered house. It has undergone significant alterations and renovations over time. Formerly known as "Chantry House" and "Windrush," the building was used as a parish workhouse in the 18th century. The house has two storeys and features casement windows. It is characterised by cross wings located at the east and west ends. The central block and east wing are clad in tiles, and the roof is tiled.
