Description
Springfield Hall is a late 16th-century house that was substantially rebuilt in the 18th century. It is likely timber-framed and faced with brick. The house is two storeys high and originally comprised three bays. The front facade is constructed of gault bricks laid in a Flemish bond. It features a three-window range of sash windows with small panes, and two flat-topped dormers are present in the front roof slope. The roof is hipped and covered with slate and tile. A large chimney stack is centrally located within the building's plan. The building likely began as an H-plan structure. The interior contains extensive panelling, wide oak boards, and some 16th-century doors.
