Description
Mill House is a 18th century building that features elevations added to an earlier timber-framed house. The front is faced with grey gault brick and has a parapet, while the rear retains its timber framing. The house is two stories tall and has a central front door that is round arched with a radial fanlight above it. To the left of the door, there is an 8-pane sash window between mullions, and to the right, there are 8-pane sash windows. The first floor has a range of three 8-pane sash windows. The roof is hipped and covered with peg tiles, and the overall plan of the house is U-shaped, with a gable end to the north. Inside, there is a late 18th century staircase, and the oak floor joists have diminished haunches.
