Description

The Tulip Public House is an early 19th-century building located on Church Lane in Springfield. It features a two-storey brick front, which is mostly painted, and has a three-window range with a central front door at ground level. The windows are sash-hung with small panes. The roof is low-pitched and slated, and there are two chimney stacks, one on each end gable. The building has a rectangular plan and is connected to a former farmhouse that forms an L-shape with a rear building, which has an older roof that runs parallel to the front range.
