Description
The Old Vicarage and The Glebe House are an 18th-century red brick house with 19th-century and later additions. The two-storey east front has a three-window range, and a two-storey canted bay at the north end, topped by a parapet and a brick cornice. Two ground-floor windows are blocked. The windows are generally double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in plain reveals. The roof is tiled, with a hipped form on the main block. A two-storey and attic addition is present on the west end, featuring a stopped gable.
The interior includes an 18th-century panelled room, good doorways, and a staircase with turned and twisted balusters.
The listed buildings in the village form a group, which includes Dweina, No 1, Elm Cot, Lime Tree Cottage, and the Almshouses which are buildings of local interest.
