Description

Burtons is an early 19th-century timber-framed and plastered house located in Great Waltham. The building has two storeys and features a two-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a fixed window with glazing bars, which may have originally been a shop window. A brick porch extends from the front of the house, and the roof is hipped and covered with slate. This building is part of a group of listed buildings in the village, which includes Dweina, No 1, Elm Cot, Lime Tree Cottage, and the Almshouses, all of which are of local interest.
