Description

The garden block to the south of Langleys is a Grade II listed building originally used as a laundry block. It is a rectangular structure built of red brick in the later 18th century, featuring brick rusticated quoins. The north and south fronts each have a central dentilled brick pediment and cornice. The building is two storeys high and has a window arrangement of 2:4:2, with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars, set in plain reveals with segmental heads. Several of the windows are now blocked. This garden block, along with Langleys and the stables at Langleys, forms a group of related structures.
