Description

Laurels is a 13th-century timber-framed and plastered house located in Great Waltham. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring a four-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The north front displays sham timber framing. There are two six-panel doors with architrave and a cornice supported by brackets. The roof is tiled. This house is part of a group of listed buildings in the village, which includes Dweina, No 1, Elm Cot, Lime Tree Cottage, and the Almshouses, all of which are of local interest.
