Description

Thatchers is an 18th century timber-framed and plastered cottage located at right angles to the road in Great Waltham. It features a later weatherboarded addition at the south end and is a single storey building. The cottage has casement windows and a thatched roof that is half hipped at the north end. This building is part of a group of listed buildings in the village, which includes Dweina and No 1, Elm Cot, Lime Tree Cottage, and Almshouses, all of which are considered buildings of local interest.
