Description

Brook House is an early 19th century timber-framed and plastered house located on Chelmsford Road, Great Waltham, near Minnowend. The main block of the house is one storey and has attics, while a gabled wing extends to the north and is two storeys high. Casement windows are present throughout, and those in the main block, along with the doorway, feature “Gothic” arched heads. The roofs are tiled, with two gabled dormers visible on the main block. A single-storey addition extends from the south end of the house.
