Description

Mason Villas consists of a pair of houses built between 1843 and 1851. The houses are constructed of gault brick with a rectangular plan. They are two storeys high and four bays wide, with the two end bays set back. Three full-height pilasters define the two central bays. A stone string course runs along the first-floor level. The front doors are round-headed and set within stucco surrounds, each with a fanlight. The six-window front has sash windows with original lights, all beneath gauged brick heads. A moulded stone string runs across the doorways at impost height. The roof is hipped and slated, with two central chimney stacks.
