Description
St John's Terrace is a pair of houses built in 1841-42, constructed from gault brick. The buildings are two storeys high and consist of four bays, featuring a stone string that projects at the first floor level. Each house has two front doors located in the end bays, which are designed with round-headed arches and radial fanlights. On the ground floor, there are two windows that are sash hung between mullions and margin sashes, without glazing bars. The first floor has a range of four small pane sash windows with margin lights. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, topped by a central chimney stack. The overall plan of the houses is rectangular.
