Description

Osborne Place comprises a pair of houses built between 1841 and 1842 of gault brick in a Flemish bond pattern. The houses project forward in two bays, each with a front entrance door set above three steps, flanked by square, attached columns and a pediment. The first-floor window above the entrance bay is round-headed with a keystone, featuring sashes with half-round glazing bars. The projecting bays have pediments with oval pediment windows. Between the entrance bays is a three-window range with sashes, and hoods on scroll consoles above the ground floor windows. The end bays feature a single tripartite window on each floor, set within stone architraves with rectangular apron panels at the first floor level. The end windows have sashes with two panes, margin lights, mullions, and margin sashes.
