Description

This barn, located approximately 30 metres north of Lealands Farmhouse, dates back to the 16th century. It features a timber frame that is plastered and weatherboarded, with a roof made of corrugated asbestos. The barn consists of five bays arranged in a northwest-southeast direction and has a hipped gablet at the southeast end of the roof. Notable architectural details include jowled posts, heavy studding with curved tension braces that are trenched to the inside, and a crownpost roof with axial bracing.
