Description

No. 82 High Street is a building with origins dating back to the mid-16th century. It features a timber-framed and plastered construction with tiled roofs. The small front wing, which has been re-fronted, consists of two storeys and includes modern shop alterations as well as a gambrel roof that is hipped at both ends. The larger rear wing also has two storeys and attics, and it retains most of its original framed structure. The roof of this wing includes cambered tie beams and is hipped at the north end.
