Description

The Royal Oak Public House is a 17th-century building that features a timber-framed and plastered structure, with significant alterations made in the late 19th century to the main front. It has a red plain tile roof and an L-shaped plan, with a long wing extending to the rear. Inside, some original timber-framing is still visible, including beams and bridging joists. The late 19th-century alterations include a sham exposed timber front and modern windows.
