Description

Nos 53 and 55 on High Street are 17th-century buildings that were altered in the 18th and 19th centuries. They are two storeys high with attics and feature a timber-framed structure that is plastered, with tiled roofs. The front has a three-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars, and there is a moulded cornice along with a parapet wall. The buildings also have modern shopfronts.
