Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed from timber framing and plaster, featuring a half-hipped thatched roof with a half hip facing the road. There is also a half-hipped extension at the rear. The cottage has a central red brick chimney stack and is one storey high with attics. It includes two eyebrow dormers and a three-window range of two and three light leaded casements. The entrance is marked by a nailed plank and muntin door.
