Description

Old Timbers is a house dating from the 16th century or earlier. It is timber framed with parget plastering, and has red plain tiled roofs. A gabled crosswing is located on the right. The main range has a central red brick chimney stack with three octagonal shafts and the date 1607 inscribed on the base. Two red brick chimney stacks are present at the rear, and a gabled dormer is visible on the main range. The house is one storey high with attics, and includes a single-storey red tiled garage extension to the right. The facade features a 2:1 window range of small-paned horizontal sliding sashes and casement windows. A plank and muntin door is positioned on the left.
