Description

September Cottage is a 17th-century cottage with later alterations, located on the west side of Church Street in Great Maplestead. The cottage is timber-framed and has panel pargetted walls. It features a red plain tiled roof with two gabled dormers, and central and right-hand red brick chimney stacks. The building is one storey high with an attic. There are four small casement windows with small panes of glass. The front has two vertically boarded doors secured with nails. A 20th-century lean-to garage extension has been added to the right side.
