Description

Purls Hill Farm byre, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, is constructed of red brick and flint, with some sections featuring weatherboarding. It has a grey slate roof that includes four hipped ventilator cotes. The structure consists of nine bays, supported by timber with straight braces in each bay. This byre is an unusually large example from its period.
