Description
The South Lodge of Moyns Park is a lodge built in the late 19th century, designed in the Tudor Revival style. It features a timber frame with plastering and is topped with handmade red clay tiles. The building has three bays oriented approximately east to west, with a central chimney stack and a two-storey porch to the south. To the north, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension with a flat roof. The lodge stands two storeys tall.
On the south elevation, there is a plain boarded door situated beneath a projecting room supported by posts, along with two pairs of windows that have arched heads. On the first floor, there is one window with an arched head. All windows are adorned with diamond leading. The lodge also features decorative elements in the late Tudor style, including a carved bressumer, brackets, pendants, and rosettes.
