Description

This is a late 16th-century house, later divided into three cottages. It has 18th-century extensions and 20th-century alterations. The building is timber-framed and plastered, with some plastered brick cladding, and has a roof of handmade red plain tiles. The original structure is a single range facing northeast, extended to the southeast in the 18th century, with further extensions added to the rear in the 19th century. Chimney stacks of red brick date from the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 20th centuries. The house has one storey with attics. The front has a five-window range of 19th- and 20th-century casement windows. There are five catslide dormers with slate roofs. The roof is gambrel-shaped. Various 20th-century porches have been added.
