Description

This is a barn located approximately 12 metres south west of Gould's Farmhouse, dating from the 16th or 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior. The roof is clad in corrugated iron and is half hipped to the right, featuring a central gabled midstrey. The barn consists of five bays and has a side purlin roof. Inside, there are some serpentine braces connecting the top plates and tie beams, along with through bracing in the walls. The roof is supported by two pairs of Queen struts.
