Description

This barn, located approximately 100 meters north-north-west of Lower Goulds Farmhouse, dates from around 1600. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, with a roof made of corrugated iron. The structure consists of four bays aligned northwest to southeast, featuring a midstrey to the northeast of the second bay from the southeast end. Notable architectural details include jowled posts, heavy studding with curved braces set into the interior, and a clasped purlin roof.
