Description

Newmans Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier for the right range, with a left range added in the 19th century. It is timber framed and plastered, featuring a red plain tiled roof on the right range and a grey slate roof on the two-storey left range, which has a gable end facing the road. The right range has one storey and attics, with two gabled dormers and two 20th-century three-light small-paned casements on the ground floor. The central entrance has a two-panelled two-light door. The left range includes two vertically sliding sash windows with horns. The farmhouse is prominently located along a main road.
