Description

Hill House is a late 18th century or early 19th century timber-framed and plastered house located on Rayne Road in Bocking. The building has two storeys and features a lower wing on the east end. It has a two-window range with double-hung sash windows that have vertical glazing bars, all set in flush cased frames. The central doorway is framed by a wood doorcase with a moulded architrave and a cornice. The roofs are tiled, with the main block having a mansard design that is steeply pitched and includes end chimney stacks.
