Description

No. 3 Panfield Lane is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered building that consists of two overlapping blocks with later additions. It has two storeys, attics, and cellars. The east front facing Panfield Lane features one range of windows, which are double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in flush cased frames. The other windows are irregular casements. There is a six-panel door with a wooden doorcase that includes an architrave and a flat hood supported by brackets. The roofs are tiled and have a mansard design, with the west block being half-hipped. Nos. 3 to 7 (odd) form a picturesque group.
