House, late C15, extended in C17 and C19. Timber framed, roughcast rendered, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. 2 bays aligned approx. NW-SE, and C18 extension to SW of SE bay, forming an L-plan. C19 3-bay range aligned NE-SW, to SE of existing building and forming a new frontage. 2 C19 chimney stacks to NW of this range, and one at NW end of original building. Lean-to extensions to NE, NW and SW, C19/20. 2 storeys. Central half-glazed door under projecting upper room on posts. One C19 splayed bay of double-hung sash windows of 8-12-8 lights, and one bay diagonally across E corner of 3 double-hung sash windows of 8 lights, early C20. First floor, 5 double-hung sash windows of 8,8,12,8 and 8 lights respectively, C19. Roof hipped. The rear elevation has one first- floor C18 window of one wrought iron casement and 2 fixed lights with early rectangular leading and crown glass. The interior of the rear parts have jowled posts, heavy studding with curved braces trenched to the inside, wattle infill, plain chamfered beams with lamb's tongue stops, and some original floorboards. The roof of the original range has short arched collars, clasped purlins and curved wind bracing.
