Description

This barn, located approximately 65 metres east of Little Priory Farmhouse, dates from the early 18th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, with a roof covered in corrugated asbestos. The structure consists of five bays arranged in a northwest-southeast orientation, featuring a midstrey on the southwest side. There are lean-to extensions on both sides of the midstrey, one topped with a corrugated iron roof and the other with corrugated asbestos. The main roof and the midstrey are both half-hipped. The barn showcases pegged main framing, primary straight bracing, bolted knees to the tiebeams, and a joggled butt-purlin roof.
