Description
Parkgate Farm Stables and Cart Lodges, located approximately 90 metres south west of the house, date from the late 18th century to early 19th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, featuring some herringbone brick walling, and topped with red plain and pantile roofs. The building is single storey and consists of three ranges, with forward gabled ranges on both the right and left sides. The left range serves as a three-bay cart lodge, while the rear range functions as a stable block, which includes a central three-light window and two stable doors. The right range contains a two-bay cart lodge and an enclosed stable with a door. There are pigeon holes in the gable, and the roof is constructed with side purlin queen struts.
