Description
Little Lodge Farm barn, located approximately 90 metres northeast of the house and northwest of another barn, dates from the 16th to 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, featuring some areas of old pargetted plaster. The barn has full height double doors and a corrugated asbestos roof, with a brick plinth at the base. It consists of five bays and has a side purlin roof supported by arched braces to the tie beams. The storey posts have heavy jowls, and the top plate shows a halved and bladed scarf joint. Additionally, there is a 20th-century inserted timber grain storage area.
