Description

This barn, located approximately 10 metres north-east of Goldsticks Farmhouse, dates from the 17th century. It features a timber frame that is plastered and weatherboarded, with a thatched roof covered in corrugated iron. The barn has four bays aligned northwest to southeast, with a midstrey on the southwest side. There are short aisles on both sides at the northwest end only. Additionally, there is a lean-to extension with a red clay pantiled roof to the south of the midstrey. The structure includes primary straight bracing and a clasped purlin roof with collars at half-bay intervals.
