Description

Hollytree is a cottage that dates from the 17th or 18th century, with possible earlier origins and 20th-century extensions to the right. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof and featuring a red brick chimney stack. The cottage stands two storeys high and has one range of 20th-century small paned casement windows, with an oriel window on the ground floor. To the right, there is a 20th-century gabled porch. The 20th-century extension is one storey and includes an attic with a gabled dormer, along with a two-storey crosswing to the right that has a matching range of casement windows. Inside, the cottage has an inserted floor and bears an inscription on the central wall that reads "TR 1794".
