Description
This barn, located approximately 15 metres north-north-east of Wasse's Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century and has been converted into garages and a store. It features a timber frame, is weatherboarded, and has a thatched roof. The barn is arranged in three bays aligned northeast-southwest, with a half-hipped roof at both ends. On the southeast elevation, there are four pairs of garage doors. The till elevation includes three 20th-century casement windows, one halved door, and one high loading door. The barn originally had large doors in the middle bay on the southeast side, which are now blocked. It has jowled posts, primary straight bracing, and arched braces to the tiebeams. The roof was rebuilt in softwood in the 20th century.
